Club de Futbol Extremadura is a Spanish football club based in Almendralejo in Extremadura. They currently feature in the Regional Preferente.

CD Extremadura were established in 1924 and spent the first 30 years of their life in the regional leagues. They gained promotion to the Spanish second division in 1954 and maintained their position in that division for seven seasons.

Extremadura suffered relegation in 1961 and eventually dropped down to the regional league in 1970. In 1994 they eventually returned to the Segunda Division and two years later they gained promotion to the Spanish Primera Division for the first time in their history. But they soon went down.

CD Extremadura play their home matches at the Estadio Francisco de la Hera that can accommodate 11,580 spectators.
