Club Atletico Defensores Unidos is a small time club that plays in the Primera C Metropolitana division of the Argentine league system. The team has mainly languished in the lower half and is more of a club for the community that also plays football. Based out of the town of Villa Fox in the Zarate district in Buenos Aires, the team is a regular fixture in the C and D divisions and also has three titles to its name.

Defensores Unidos have won the Primera C Metropolitana Apertura title in 1993 and that was the only time that the team went into the Primera B Division in it’s history. In 1969 and in the last season (i.e. 2007-08) the team won the Primera D Metropolitana title and have had the likes of Sergio Goycochea, a former Argentine national team goalkeeper, in their squad.
