Barracas Central is a football club from Buenos Aires, and currently they are playing in the Primera C Metropolitana, the fourth rung in the Argentine Football Association League system. Having played consistently in the AAAF league from 1919 till 1934, the clubs best finish was 2nd place in the year 1932. Barracas Central, joined the Amateur league, soon after professional football was established. They have played in all divisions from the 2nd till the 4th in the league system.
Their notable titles are, Primera Amateur in 1944 and 1948, Primera Division D in 1974 and 1981 and Primera C Metropolitana, Apertura in 2003. Emilio Baldonedo is one of the most prominent players of the club.
