Aaron Hunt is a football player from Germany who currently plays for Werder Bremen. Born on September 4, 1986, in Goslar, West Germany, Hunt is mainly a winger, but he can also play as an attacking midfielder or a forward.

Sporting a number 14 jersey, Hunt started playing in his youth for VfL Oker, and then played for GSC Goslar. After that, he transferred to Werder Bremen’s youth team from 2001 to 2004, before turning pro sometime in 2003. However, he was stuck playing in the reserves (Werder Bremen II) from 2003-2007, making 37 appearances all in all with 8 goals.

By 2004, Hunt was able to make his first appearance as a player of the first team. So far, he has made 109 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals so far.

Hunt is also a member of the German national team. He was actually playing internationally since he was a part of Germany’s Under 16 team. However, it was only in 2009 that he was officially made a part of the German national team, but has made only one appearance so far.

Incidentally, Hunt was involved in some scandal in 2006 where he was charged by UEFA for having serious unsporting behavior. This was after complaints surfaced of Hunt’s making racist remarks during the Under-21 playoff game against England. He was subsequently banned but managed to appeal the decision so the ban was dropped after 2 games.
