Renato Dirnei Florecio, most commonly known as Renato, is a Brazilian international footballer who currently featutes for the Spanish giants Sevilla FC. Renato plays as a midfielder and is a regular for his club.
Renato made his professional debut for the Brazilian side Guarani in 1998 and after two impressive seasons was signed by Brazilian powerhouse Santos for whom he featured in 126 games in all competitions until the summer of 2004 when he moved to Spain to play for Sevilla FC.
Renato was a quick hit at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and is now a regular and key member of the side. He is renowned for his ball distribution skills. Renato has earned 29 international caps for his nation Brazil and has scored thrice. He holds both a Brazilian and a Italian passport.
