Souleymane “Sol” BambaSouleymane Bamba>, born on 13th January 1985 is a professional footballer who plays for Cote d’Ivoire National Football team. He is a defense player. He also plays for the club Hibernian.

Bamba started his youth career in 1999 with Paris Saint-Germain. In 2004 his senior career pushed off. He played for the same club for his senior career. However, he made only 1 appearance for the club. In 2006, he joined the club Dunfermline Athletic. He made 39 appearances over a span of 2 years. In 2008, he joined the Hibernian where he still plays.

Bamba started playing at an international level when he joined the Cote d’Ivoire U-23 team in the year 2008. He made only 2 appearances for the team. In the same year he was selected for the Cote d’Ivoire National football team.

He has been selected for the 23 man Cote d’Ivoire squad for 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa. He had also made appearances at the FIFA World Youth Championship in 2003 and CAF African Youth Championship after two years.
