Miguel Angel Torres Quintana is a professional footballer from Peru who plays as a midfielder. Torres began his playing career at the youth team of Universitario de Deportes. He moved up to the first team in 2000, and he remained with the club for two years, following which he moved to Coronel Bolognesi.
He stayed with Bolognesi for just a single season, scoring one goal in the 29 appearances he made with the team. Torres then moved to Sport Boys for the next season, and then on to Cienciano, with whom he made over 80 appearances, scoring only once.
In 2007, Torres returned to Universitario, though he did not get an opportunity to play regularly, till the next season. It was only in 2008 that he became a part of the starting line-up, and has now made over 45 appearances with the team.
Apart from this Torres has also played for the Peruvian national football team five times. Some of his notable title wins include the Torneo Apertura 2008 and the Campeonato Descentralizado 2009, in the Primera Division Peruana, with Universitario.
