Clemens Fritz is a German international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. He plays as a right-back and is known for his pace, work rate and passing abilities.
Clemens Fritz commenced his professional football career at Regional Liga club Rot-Weiss Erfut in 1999 and after two years joined Karlsruher SC in the German second division.
Fritz played for them for two years and then joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2003. He played on loan for Karlsruher for the 2003-2004 season and was drafted into the first team in the 2003-2004 season.
