Willian Magrao

Willian Henrique Antunes is a professional footballer from Brazil who plays as a midfielder. Popularly known as Willian Magrao, he is primarily a defense minded player who pays more emphasis on protecting the defenders rather than score goals.

In 2005, Magrao joined the youth division at Gremio and for two years, was part of the famous youth program at Gremio. In 2007, he broke into the first team squad at Gremio and was soon a regular in the starting eleven. He appeared over 40 times in two seasons and despite his defensive duties, he scored 8 goals. In his debut season, Gremio won the Rio Grande do Sul State League title and although Magrao didn’t play a big role, he was present at times to support the push for the title.
