Oscar Adrian Lucero is a professional football player from Argentina who plays as a midfielder. Lucero made his debut in 2004 for Newell’s Old Boys and didn’t get into the playing eleven for the first team in his debut season. In fact, he stayed on the bench for most of the time and watched his team win the 2004 Apertura title.

In 2005, he made a greater impact and soon became a regular member in the first team, notching up over 80 appearances in the next 4 seasons with 4 goals to his credit. He was transferred to Racing Club in 2008 and in his first 16 appearances, had scored 2 goals.
