Alessandro Gazzola is a young Italian football player who is on the books of the Italian Serie A club Catania. He plays as a striker and is currently on loan to Italian Serie B side Avellino for the 2008-2009 season.
Alessandro Gazzola developed at the youth academy of Italian side Sambenedettese and made five first team appearanes for them during the 2004-2005 season when he was only 15 years of age. He was then sent out on loan on two short spells to Venezia, first at the beginning of the 2006-2007 season.
He was signed by Catania in 2007 and failed to play regularly for them in the 2007-2008 season. He has been sent on loan to Serie B side US Avellino for the 2008-2009 season.
