Jose Joelson Incio developed at the youth academy of Italian club Atalanta but could never make it through to the first team for them. After playing from 2002 to 2004 for Pavia on loan, scoring 14 goals in 59 league matches, he was signed by AlbinoLeffe.

Jose Incio played for AlbinoLeffe for three seasons and joined Reggina in 2007 when his contract with them expired. He has been loaned out to Pisa Calcio for the 2008-2009 season.
