Adrian Gonzalez is a professional footballer player from Argentina, who plays as a midfielder. In 1995, Gonzalez began his career at El Porvenir, a regionalized third-division team from Argentina. After three years at the club, he moved to San Lorenzo for the first of his two spells, in 1998. In 2001, Gonzalez was instrumental in helping the team win the 2001 Clausura title at the Primera Division.
In 2001, he left San Lorenzo for Union de Santa Fe and then a year later, moved to Atletico Banfield. Despite playing almost all the games in the first-team, Gonzalez was unable to help the teams climb up on the ladder and in 2004, left Banfield to return to San Lorenzo. With over 120 games since his return, and 17 goals, Gonzalez now wears the captain’s arm band for the club.
