An Argentine professional footballer, Martin Galmarini is a midfielder who plays in the Primera Division in Argentina. In 2002, Galmarini made his professional debut with Tigre, in the Primera B Metropolitana Division of the Argentine football league structure. After two seasons, he finally managed to put in a wonderful performance for his club, helping them gain promotion to the second division. In 2006, he again helped the team secure a place in the Primera Division, the first time they managed to do so since 1980.
In 2007, he led Tigre to a second place finish in the Apertura tournament, their highest finish ever in the Primera Division. After the 2008 Clausura season, he joined River Plate in a bid to further the titles he won with Tigre.
