Diego Armando Barrado is an Argentine footballer who began his professional career in 2000. He began playing with River Plate although in his 5 seasons with the club, he only managed to play 23 games while scoring twice. In 2004, he moved to Racing Club where he became a regular member of the first team squad and played 29 games in the season, scoring 5 goals. In 2005, he returned to River Plate to play another season.

In his second stint with the club, Barrado played 16 games with the team and scored two goals. This was followed by two loan spells, the first to Colon de Santa Fe in 2006 and then in 2007, he went to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca. In 2008, he returned to the team at River Plate and has been more regular with the team in the campaign to win the 2008 Clausura title.
