Born in Buenos Aires in Argentina, Leonardo Garcian began his professional football career with Velez Sarsfield, and was a part of the winning team of the Clausura 2005. In the next season, Gracian moved to Club de Futbol Monterrey, a Mexican club, but stayed there only for one season. In 2007 he returned to Argentina and joined Boca Juniors, a First Division club in the Argentine football league.
