Born in Caucasia, Antioquia, Josimar Mosquera Angulo is a Colombian footballer who plays as defender for Arsenal de Sarandi. The club currently plays in the first division of the Argentine football league. Football runs in Mosquera’s family with brother Aquivaldo Mosquera also playing as defender for Sevilla FC, a Spanish club.
Starting his football career with a second division team, Godoy Cruz de Mendoza, Mosquera was part of the winning team for the Apertura 2005 tournament. Subsequently Godoy Cruz was promoted to first division, a first for the club.
The following season saw Mosquera switch from Godoy to Estudiantes de La Plata, and in his very first season with the club they went on to win the Apertura 2006 title. But Mosquera had little to do with the victory as he sat in the sidelines for this game. He got his opportunity in the next season, when he played with the first team for the Clausura 2007, and also scored his only goal for the club. They went on to win the game 2-0 against Club Atletico Banfield. By the end of the season Mosquera once again made a switch, this time to his current team, Arsenal de Sarandi.
