Nicola Ventola is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Torino. He plays as a striker.

Nicola Ventola commenced his professional club football career at Bari and was part of their first team from 1994 to 1998. After scoring 12 goals in 45 league matches, he was signed by Italian and European powerhouse Inter Milan.

Ventola was part of the first team at Inter between 1998 and 2005 but could manage only 37 Italian Serie A appearances and scored 10 goals. He spent most of his Inter Milan years on loan with various clubs.

Ventola played for Bologna, Atalanta, Siena and Crystal Palace and was quite impressive in his loan stints. In 2005, he was signed by Atalanta on a permanent basis on a two-year contract. He scored 21 goals in 64 league matches for them and was signed by Torino in 2007 on a two-year contract.
