Aleksandar Lukovic is a Serbian international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Udinese. He is a defender and plays as a left back.

Aleksandar Lukovic started his professional club football career at Sloga Kraljevo in 1998 and then moved to Borac Cacak in 2000. He was signed by former European giants Red Star Belgrade in 2000 and he was officially a Red Star player until 2007.

Aleksandar Lukovic featured in 64 league matches and scored 3 goals for Red Star Belgrade although he spent a considerable fraction of his tenure at Sloga Kraljevo, FK jedinstvo Paracin, Ascoli and Udinese on loan.

Udinese signed Lukovic in 2007 on a permanent contract and the Serbian left back has gone onto become a regular first choice player for Udinese.
