Ian Michael Walker is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers. He plays as a goalkeeper. He is the son of the former Wales goalkeeper and Norwich City and Everton manager Mike Walker.
Ian Walker started his professional club football at north London club Tottenham Hotspur in 1989 and played for them until 2001, featuring in a massive 260 league matches. He was regarded as a good custodian in the Premier League during his time with Spurs.
In July 2001 Walker was signed by Leicester City for 2.5 million pounds and played 140 league matches in four years for Leicester. In 2005 he was signed by Bolton Wanderers on a one-year contract and was the goalkeeper for Bolton in the club’s first ever European match away from England against Bulgarian team Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
