Fabrice Ndala Mumaba is a DR Congo-born English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
Fabrice Muamba was born in DR Congo but his father fled the nation in 1994 because of political turmoil and took asylum in England and along with rest of his family settled in East London.
Fabrice Muamba actually played at Arsenal’s youth system and signed his first professional contract with the club in October 2005. He made his first team debut for the Gunners in a League Cup tie against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
But Muamba could never play a league game for Arsenal and played 34 league matches for Birmingham City in the 2006-2007 season.
Fabrice Muamba was signed by Birmingham City on a permanent deal in the summer of 2007 for 4 million pounds on a three year contract and he scored twice in 37 league matches in 2007-2008.
Bolton Wanderers signed Muamba from Birmingham City in the summer of 2008 for 5 million pounds lus add-ons on a four year contract.
