Emmerson Orlando Boyce is an English born Barbadian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Wigan Athletic. He plays as a defender.
Emmerson Boyce started his professional club career at English side Luton Town in 1998 and played for them for six years, scoring 8 goals in 185 impressive matches. He was a rock at the back for Luton and moved to Crystal Palace in July 2004 on a free transfer after undergoing a short trial.
Emmerson Boyce was a hit at Palace too and played two seasons for them with considerable success. He was voted “Player of the Year” in 2006 and scored 1 goal in 69 league matches.

Emmerson Boyce was then signed by Premiership regulars Wigan Athletic in August 2006 on a four-year contract and has been pretty much regular since then after making his Wigan debut against Newcastle United in the Premiership on August 19,2006.
Emmerson Boyce made his international debut for Barbados on March 26,2008 against Dominica in a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
