Jason Koumas is a Welsh international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Wigan Athletic. He plays as a midfielder and is one of the most battling players in the Premie League.
Jason Koumas started his professional football career at Tranmere Rovers in 1998 and played for them for four seasons, scoring 25 goals in 127 league fixtures. He was a regular first choice at Tranmere and was signed by West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2002 for 2.25 million pounds.
Jason Koumas developed to be one of the best and most trustworthy player at the Hawthorns as he gave his all for West Brom. He played for five seasons for West Brom and was one of the best, if not the best, players of the club in those clubs,although he spent the entire 2005-2006 season on loan at Cardiff City. Koumas was also voted as the Player’s Player of the Year in the 2002-2003 season.

Jason Koumas was signed by Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2007. He had scored 23 goals in 123 league matches for West Brom and is a regular for Wigan in the Premiership.
Jason Koumas made his international debut for Wales in 2001 and has scored 10 goals in 31 matches for his nation so far. He made his debut against Ukraine and has developed to be a regular for his country and an important too. But he has often been absent for international training camps which have blighted his international career.
