Ethan Chidiebere Nwaneri is a soccer player playing for Arsenal. He is an England youth international midfielder, who can operate as a number 10 but is versatile in all attacking roles, both wide and centrally.
Club Career
Nwaneri was born in London and comes from a family of Nigerian descent. He joined Arsenal as an eight-year-old and came through the club’s ranks.
In September 2022, he became the youngest player to ever play in the Premier League when he was a substitute for Arsenal against Brentford at the age of 15 years and 181 days.
In June 2023, he signed his first professional contract with the Gunners.
In September 2024, Nwaneri scored his first goal for Arsenal, bagging a double in a 5-1 win over Bolton in the EFL Cup.
International Career
Nwaneri has represented England at several under-age levels, including appearing at the 2023 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
