Gerard Autet Serrabasa is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division side Sporting de Gijon. He plays as a defender.
Gerard started his professional club career at Palamos in 1997 and after two seasons and 20 league appearances he moved to Espanyol in 1999. He played for the Catalan side for two seasons and then moved to Levante.
After 34 league appearances for Levante in the 2001-2002 season, Gerard switched to Xerez. He played for five seasons for Xerez and made 129 league appearances.
In the summer of 2007 Sporting de Gijon came calling and signed Gerrard. He then went on to become a pivotal player for Sporting as they won promotion to La Liga at the end of the 2007-2008 season.
