Club Career
Brussels-born Lavia, who is of Ghanaian descent, spent time at Anderlecht’s academy in his youth, before switching to Manchester City in 2020 as a 16-year-old. He made his professional debut for City as a 17-year-old in the League Cup.
In July 2022, Lavia was signed by Southampton on a five-year deal for a reported 10.5 million pounds with 3.5m pounds in add-ons. He had an impressive season with the Saints, playing regularly but the side struggled and was ultimately relegation.
