Ryan Christie was born in Inverness, Scotland, and came with a family of footballers. His father is Charlie Christie who was a former football player for Caledonian Thistle and a reserve player for Celtic.
Career
Christie’s career began with Inverness Thistle when he was just 10 years old, before making it through the professional level in 2011. His debut was during the Scottish Premiership in December 2013 and became a substitute player in the Scottish League Cup Final. Regardless of him being a substitute player, he was able to finish Top 6 of the Scottish Premiership.

His professional career continued when he joined the Celtic on a 4-year contract but was sent out to become a one-season loan to Inverness. In November 2015, Christie suffered a knee injury that prevented him to play football.
Currently, he is signed with AFC Bournemouth on a 3-year contract.
