Marvin Emnes is a young Dutch football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Middlesbrough. He is a winger and used to be a sprinter when he was younger.
Marvin Emnes rose through the youth ranks at Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam in 2005 and played for them for three years, scoring 9 goals in 56 Dutch league matches. He rose to prominence in the 2007-2008 season and scored 8 goals, becoming the Sparta Fans’ Player of the Year.
In July 2008 Marvin Emnes was signed by Premier League side Middlesbrough for 4 million euros on a four year contract.
