Adam Johnson is a young English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Middlesbrough. He is a left winger and is said to come of age in the 2008-2009 season.

Adam Johnson won the FA Youth Cup in 2004 with Middlesbrough and graduated from the club’s academy. He made his senior debut for Middlesbrough when he was just 17 years of age. His debut came against Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Cup in a 1-0 defeat.

Adam Johnson made his debut for Middlesbrough in the English Premier League in 2004 and scored his first goal for Middlesbrough against Bolton Wanderers in May 2006.

Adam Johnson played loan to Leeds United in 2006 and Watford in 2007. He has also been playing for England U21 since 2007.
