Brett Michael Emerton is a Australian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers. He is a versatile footballer who can play as a wide midfielder, central midfielder or full back.
Brett Emerton started his professional club career at Australian side Sydney Olympic in 1996 and played for them for four years, scoring 16 goals in 94 league matches.
Feyenoord signed Emerton in August 2000 for a fee of 415,000 pounds and Emerton was a star at the Rottendam Arena as his versatility and consistency made him a huge player in the Netherlands.
