Paul Stalteri is an Italian Canadian football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. He plays as a right back. He can also function as a midfielder.
Paul Stalteri made his club debut for Canadian side Toronto Lynx in 1997 and after one season was signed by German powerhouse Werder Bremen. He made his senior debut with the club in August 2001 and went onto become a regular player for Bremen as he featured in no fewer than 151 German Bundesliga matches for Bremen. He became the first Canadian player to win the Bundesliga as Bremen won the league in 2003-2004.
Tottenham Hotspur signed Stalteri in the summer of 2005 but he could never quite cement a starting player for himself at White Hart Lane. He was offloaded to Fulham in January 2008 on a six-month loan deal and has been recalled to Spurs first team for the 2008-2009 season.
