Nico Schlotterbeck is a soccer player playing for Borussia Dortmund. He is a Germany international centre-back.
Club Career
Schlotterback started out with VfR Aalen in his youth, moving to Karlsruhe SC in 2015, before joining SC Freiburg where he made his senior debut in 2018.
He broke into the Freiburg starting side after a one-year loan spell to Union Berlin where he impressed.
In 2022, Borussia Dortmund signed him on a five-year deal for a deal reportedly wroth 25 million euros. He helped Dortmund make the 2023 UEFA Champions League final.
International Career
Schlotterback represented Germany at under-age level and debuted for the senior team in 2022. He was part of their Euro 2024 squad.
