Sanchez joined Brighton and Hove Albion’s academy in 2013. He made 87 Premier League appearances for the club but lost his spot as their preferred goalkeeper late in the 2022-23 season to Jason Steele.
In August 2023, Sanchez transferred from Brighton and Hove Albion to Chelsea for a reported 25 million pounds on a seven-year deal. His signing came after the exit of Edouard Mendy to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, offering competition to Kepa Arrizabalaga.
