Marc Cucurella Saseta is a soccer player playing for Chelsea. He plays primarily as a left-back but can play as a centre-back.
Alella-born Cucurella spent time with Catalan pair Espanyol and Barcelona in his youth career before moving to Eibar on loan in 2018 along with Getafe in 2019. He moved to Getafe permanently.
Cucurella enjoyed a strong second season with Getafe in La Liga, winning a switch to Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion in August 2021, becoming a regular in their line-up.
In August 2022, he joined Chelsea from Brighton for a fee reported to be 55 million pounds on a six-year deal.
He represented Spain at youth level and earned his senior debut in 2021.
