Alexander Isak is a soccer player playing for Newcastle United.
Isak came through at AIK Stockholm, making his first team debut in February 2016, before being signed by Borussia Dortmund in January 2017 on a long-term deal. He didn’t make many appearances for Dortmund and was loaned out to Dutch club Willem II in the 2018-19 season where he scored 13 league goals in 16 games.
In 2019, Real Sociedad swooped to sign him on a five-year deal and he excelled in Spain, helping the club win the 2020 Copa del Rey. Across just over three seasons, Isak scored 44 goals from 132 appearances for Sociedad, before Newcastle United signed him in August 2022.
