Daniel ‘Dan’ Gosling is a young English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Newcastle United. He is a midfielder.
Gosling progressed through the youth system at Plymouth Argyle and made his professional debut when he was just 16 years of age in December 206 against Hull City. He played for Plymouth until the end of the 007-2008 season and had scored 2 goals in 22 league appearances.
In January 2008 Everton came calling and signed the player and drafted him into the first team for the 2008-2009 campaign. However, he failed to impress much at Goodison Park and moved to Newcastle in the summer of 2010 on a free transfer.

Gosling signed a four-year contract with Newcastle in July 2010 and returned to training in November of that year. His debut for the Magpies came against Sunderland in a 1-1 draw on January 16, 2011. Gosling has yet to become a regular at St James’ Park.
