David Navarro Pedros is Spanish footballer who currently features for Spanish Valencia. Navarro plays in the centre-back position and is a graduate of the Valencia youth academy and has always played for Valencia.
Navarro was a relatively low profile player until recently when he rose to fame in a negative manner. Valencia played Inter Milan in a UEFA Champins League tie in March last season and at the end of the 0-0 draw at the Mestalla, Navarro was entangled in a brawl between the two set of players. Navarro had actually on the bench all the match but ran onto the picth as soon as the brawl took its shape.
Navarro was caught on camera punching the Inter Milan player Nicolas Burdisso in the face and broke his nose. He was later chased to the Valencia dressing room by the Inter Milan players but did not suffer repercussions from them.

But David Navarro did face charges from UEFA who suspended him for seven months originally but the period of suspension was reduced to six months.
At the start of the 2007-2008 season, Navarro was sent on loan to Real Mallorca for whom he has made only a handful of appearances because of the suspension. He returned to Valencia thereafter and has established himself as one of the more important players at the Mestalla.
