Ludovic Giuly is a French international footballer who currently features for the Italian giants AS Roma. Giuly is essentially a winger but he can also play as a striker.
Ludovic Giuly commenced his career with French giants Olympique Lyonnais in 1994 and was signed by the French principality club AS Monaco in 1998. He played at the Stade Louis II until the end of the 2003-2004 season. In his final season for the French side, Giuly was the captain and played exceptional football to lead Monaco to the final of the UEFA Champions League which they lost 3-0 to FC Porto.
Ludovic Giuly was signed by FC Barcelona from Monaco in the summer of 2004 for 7 million euros on a four-year contract. He was the second top scorer for the Blaugranas as they won the Spanish league for the first time in six years. He was again a vital piece in the Barcelona jigsaw in the 2005-2006 as Barca accomplished a marvelous league and European Cup double.

But Giuly was largely ineffective and equally unused during Barca’s trophy-barrern 2006-2007 season and was sold to AS Roma in the summer of 2007 for 4.5 million euros on 1.8 million euros per year salary.
Ludovic Giuly is also a French international but hasn’t played any international match for France since 2005.
