He turned pro in 2012 and started playing for the Northampton Town senior team. He played with them from 2012 to 2015. He made a total of 53 appearances for the team.
In 2015, he signed to play with Newcastle United. At that time, he was loaned to a couple of teams including Barnsley and Shrewsbury Town. He was also loaned to Scunthorpe United and Wigan Athletic.
