Breel Donald Embolo is a soccer player playing for Monaco and the Switzerland national football team.
Cameroon-born Embolo moved to France in his youth, before relocating to Switzerland in his teen years, where he spent time with Nordstern, Old Boys and Basel in his youth career.
Embolo debuted for Basel in 2014 and won the club’s Young Player of the Year that season after impressing in a handful of appearances. He went on to become a regular in a title-winning side across the next two seasons, also earning the Swiss Footballer of the Year award for 2015.
