He struggled for opportunities and goals at Liverpool and opted to join Bournemouth in January 2019.
Solanke’s stint at Bournemouth was fruitful, albeit after their relegation from the Premier League in 2019-20. In the 2020-21 Championship season, Solanke scored 15 goals.
He backed that up with 29 goals from 46 games as Bournemouth clinched promotion back to the Premier League as runners-up. He was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year in 2021-22.
Solanke’s first season back in the top flight wasn’t prolific but in 2023-24 he netted 19 times, earning the Premier League Player of the Month for December 2023 after a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest and six goals for the month.
In August 2024, Tottenham signed Solanke on a six-year deal for a reported 55 million pounds, which was a club record for Bournemouth.
International Career
Solanke was capped at numerous England youth levels, before making his international debut in 2017 in a 0-0 draw with Brazil in a friendly.
