Filipe Luis Kasmirski, popularly known as Filipe, is a Brazil international footballer of Polish and Italian origin who plays for Atletico Madrid. He is a versatile footballer who can play on the left side of midfield or as a fullback.
Filipe made his professional debut with Brazilian giants Figueirense and played for them in the 2003-2004 season and was then on loaned to Dutch powerhouse AFC Ajax for the next season.
Filipe then joined Rentistas in the summer of 2005 and was immediately loaned out to Real Madrid B for the 2005-2006 season and then to Deportivo la Coruna for the next two seasons. At Depor, he established himself as a first choice left-back as Joan Capdevilla was signed by Villarreal.

Deportivo signed Filipe on a permanent deal in the summer of 2008 on a five-year contract, but his impressive performance for Depor saw him move to Atletico Madrid in 2010. He has since become one of the best and well-known left-backs in Europe, earning a name for himself as a very attacking left-back.
Filipe won the Europa League with Atletico in 2011-12 and the UEFA Super Cup in 2010 and 2012.
Filipe made his international debut for Brazil against Venezuela in a 2010 World Cup qualifier on October 15, 2009.
