David Sergio Trezeguet is a French international footballer currently featuring for the Italian giants Juventus. He plays as a striker and is considered as one of the most feared striker and potent goalscorers in world footballer. He is often referred to as Trezegol.
David Trezeguet is the son of Jorge Trezeguet, an Argentinean football player of French ancestry. He began his professional career at Argentine side Platense in 1993 after just two years was on the move to the French principality side AS Monaco. After staying 5 years in Monaco and scoring a staggering 52 goals in 93 matches, he was signed by Juventus in the summer of 2000.
He has been at Juve ever since and has developed to become an icon of the club. He is now the the sixth highest scorer for Juventus, with 160 goals and the highest scoring foreigner in Juventus history.
David Trezaguet won the 1998 World Cup with France and scored the Golden Goal against Italy in the final of Euro 2004. He participated in the 2002 World Cup, Euro 2004 and 2006 World Cup but failed to make the French squad for Euro 2008.
