A professional football player from Brazil, Weverson Leandro Oliveira Moura plays as a striker. Leandro began his playing career at a small lower division team called Guara, in 2007. The following year, he moved to Brazilian legend Zico’s football academy and played for their first team in the lower divisions.
After a year at the Centro de Futebol Zico de Brasilia, Leandro was on his way to Sociedade Esportiva Gama. From 2008 to 2010, Leandro was a part of the first team at the club before making his mark on the Gremio coaching staff. Towards the latter part of 2010, Leandro moved to Gremio but it wasn’t until 2011 that he would make his debut for the first team. Leandro would score on his debut match as a full-time professional, with Gremio.
This 17-year old striker is compared to the likes of Ronaldinho and Carlos Eduardo, the other great Brazilians who have passed out of this fantastic club and gone on to achieve global fame for their work on the pitch. Leandro was part of the Gremio side that won the 2011 Campeonato Gaucho and won the Taca Piratini award as well, for the same year.
