A professional football player from Brazil, Guilherme Camacho plays as a midfielder in an attacking role. Camacho began playing in the Flamengo youth academy in 1999. From the age of 9, Camacho had started preparations to become a world-beating football player and in 2008, he was called into the Flamengo first team. After failing to make an impression on the first team coach, Camacho was sent out on loan to ensure that he got some more match practice.
In 2008, he was sent out to Parana Clube where he just played 4 games before being sent back to Flamengo. Every time Camacho returned to the club, he would play a game or two before being placed on the reserves once again. In 2010, he went out on another loan move, this time to Goias Esporte Clube but only played three games. In 2011, Camacho moved to Esporte Clube Bahia for 13 games and even got his first goal at the professional level.
Camacho returned to Flamengo for the 2012 season but has only made a sum total of 15 appearances for the team in his time so far. He has also been a part of the Brazilian Under-20 side in 2009.
