Nassim Ben Khalifa is a professional football player who plays for the team of BSC Young Boys in the League of Swiss Super League. He started his debut with Grasshopper in the Swiss Super League in the year 2009 at the age of 17. He played just for 11 minutes against FC Sion and in the fourth game he got to score his first goal.

Nassim joined VfL Wolfsburg of the German Bundesliga club on 1 July 2010 and signed a four year contract with the club. He did not get a chance to play for that club as he was on bench for half a season. He was loaned by FC Nuremberg till summer 2012. On 5 March 2011, in the 82nd minute he made his Bundesliga debut against the team of FC St. Pauli.

Nassim got a chance to play for various professional teams also. He got to participate at the U17 European Championship in 2008 held in Turkey. The following year, in 2009, he played for the U17 team in Germany, when he was awarded the “Silver Ball” trophy as the second best player of the tournament.

Further, he made his debut on 26th May 2010 against the team of Turkey for the Swiss U21 squad. Though he was selected for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, he didn’t made it to the final 23 men squad. On 11th August 2010, he played against the team of Austria, for the Swiss national team.
