Bruno Costa de Souza is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a defender. A fantastic player who has a calm presence on the pitch, Costa came into the limelight with Atletico Paranaense’s youth squad in 2004. After playing for the Brazilian Under-15 squad in 2005, Costa became known as one of the rising stars in Brazilian football.

He helped Atletico win the Campeao Metropolitano Juvenil in 2004, 2005 and 2006, as well as helped them win the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-15 title in 2005. As part of the junior squad, Costa won three more titles with Atletico Paranaense, with the Campeonato Paranaense Juniores titles in 2007 and 2008. He also helped the team win the Copa Tribuna de Futebol Junior title in 2009.

2009 was also the year when Costa broke into the first team setting. Since his entry into the team, he has been a part of the Atletico Paranaense line-up for 25 games, although most of them were as a substitute. He continues to be one of the hottest players coming up through the ranks of Brazilian football.
