Jose Antonio Garcia Calvo is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish club Real Valladolid. He is a central defender.
Jose Garcia started his footballing career at Real Madrid after rising through their youth academy. HE made his senior debut for the Merengues in the1995-1996 season but lasted just one more reason and made a total of just 16 first team appearances in the league.
He moved to Real Valladolid in the summer of 1997 and made 128 league appearances until the summer of 2001 when Atletico Madrid came calling. He was a success at the Vicente Calderon and played over a hundred league matches for them.
