Givanildo Vieira de Souza, also known as Hulk, is a Brazilian football player who plays for F.C. Porto in the Portuguese first division. Mainly a right winger, he can also play as a striker. As his nickname suggests, Givanildo’s stocky build and strength are known as his foremost attributes, along with acceleration, a powerful shot and speed.

In 2009, Hulk got selected to the Brazilian national team, to play friendly matches against Oman and England team. He made his debut against England, when he came as a substitute in 1-0 victory, other than playing in the second half of the match against Oman.

With the team of Porto, he won various awards like the Primeira Liga in 2008-09 and in 2010-11, Taca de Portugal in 2008-09, in 2009-10 and in 2010-11, Supertaca Candido de Oliveira in 2009,2010 and in 2011, UEFA Europa League in 2010-11 and UEFA Super Cup as a runner up team in 2011.

Individually, Hulk won J. League Division 2 as a top scorer in 2007, the Peace Cup, also as a top scorer in 2009, the Portuguese League, again as a top scorer in 2010-11. Other than that, Hulk was the Portuguese League Player of the month in 2009, 2010 (September, October, November and December) and in January 2011. He became the Portuguese League Breakthrough player in 2008-09 and the Portuguese League Player of the year in 2010-11.
