Guillaume Hoarau is a French football player who currently features for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. He plays as a striker and is a prolific goalscorer.
Hoarau commenced his professional football career at Le Havre in January 2004 and made his league debut against Chateauroux in a 2-1 defeat on May 12, 2004.
Hoarau joined Gueugnon on loan for the 2006-07 season and having established himself as a star striker in Ligue 2, he was snapped up by Paris Saint-Germain in January 2008, with PSG paying Le Havre €500,000 as transfer fee and letting him finish the 2007-08 season with them.
Hoarau soon made a name for himself at PSG and had a successful first season with them. However, he has since struggled to replicate his form and is now far below in the pecking order.
Hoarau made his international debut for France in 2010 and has played five matches for his country so far.
